Group Volunteer Application

Are you interested in bringing a group from your job or another community group to volunteer on the build site? We would love to work with you to make that happen! Team build days are a great way to try out something new and build camaraderie as a group, all while making positive changes in your local community!

We typically do build days on Wednesdays and Saturdays, but we are open to hosting groups on other weekdays as well. We are closed Sundays and Mondays.

Build days typically go from 9-2:30, but we can do a half day as well if the group prefers that.

Notes:

Minors must be at least 16 in order to volunteer on the build site and at least 14 to volunteer in the ReStore. Youth volunteers on the build site are subject to additional restrictions (no power tools, no excessive heights, etc), and we need to approve them in advance just to make sure we have an appropriate task for them.

We typically cap groups at 10 on the build site and 5 in the ReStore. We may be able to accommodate a few more individuals than that with advance notice, but we typically cannot handle very large groups on a single day, and would have to break them up into multiple days. We would love to have large groups on site, but we have a small staff and only so much work to do on any one day, and we want every volunteer on site to feel that their time is engaging and well-spent.
